Belfast City Council invites tenders for the provision of Legionella Monitoring & Risk Management Programme at various Belfast City Council properties. This contract will be for 1 Year with the option of a further 4 years dependant on performance. The Council reserve the right to let the Contract in part, full or not at all. The Council reserve the right to remove or change any part of this Contract from being implemented to match our demands at any stage of the Contract.

The Museum requires a specialist contractor to clean and reline the water tanks to mitigate against debris/ rust/ scale build up in the tanks, reduce legionella risk and reduce risk of leaks and impact on Museum operations. The specialist contractor is also required to replace the existing aged pipework with new mild steel pipework that mitigates against scale build up in pipework. These works should also improve flow/efficiency of the cold water services distribution system and avoid water leaks via increased robustness of pipework materials and fittings. Due to the nature and location of the tanks, site visits are mandatory - bidders will be excluded from the tender if they do not visit site. Site Visits can be made by prior arrangement with NHM. Tenderers will be limited to a maximum of 2 [two] individuals for the site visit for Health and Safety reasons. The Industrial Dwellings Society (1885) Ltd (IDS) is seeking a competent contractor to provide water hygiene and Legionella risk management services across its residential housing stock of approximately 1,500 properties in nine London boroughs. The scope covers Legionella risk assessments, routine water hygiene monitoring (temperature checks, tank inspections, remedial cleaning and chlorination), water storage tank replacement and repair, cold water storage tank (CWST) removal and drain-down where properties are decommissioned, and associated compliance reporting in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, BS 7592:2022 and BS 8580-1/2. The contract will be let following an open competitive procurement under the Procurement Act 2023, evaluated on the most advantageous tender basis. Contract duration and any extension options will be confirmed in the Invitation to Tender. Bidders must demonstrate relevant technical competence, health and safety compliance, adequate resourcing to cover the housing stock geography, and the financial standing to deliver a contract of this value and duration.

Water Plant maintenance on behalf of Choice Ltd

Hull City Council (The Authority) is seeking tenders from interested organisations to provide water testing services for fountains across Kingston upon Hull. The tender is an open procedure consisting of a one stage process. The contract is anticipated to commence 1 October 2026 ending by 31 September 2029 with an option to extend for a period of one year. The Authority has estimated the value of the services to be £60,000 per annum. The estimated value is given in good faith to assist tenderers in making their submissions, it should not be interpreted as an undertaking to purchase any services to any particular value by the Authority and does not form part of the Contract. This Dynamic Market is being established for Lancashire County Council, to support countywide works undertaken by Property Services who have a legal duty to assess and control the risk of exposure to legionella bacteria. The Dynamic Market is divided into seven individual parts for a range of Services. Part 1 Legionella Risk Assessment - Contract A (North) Part 2 Legionella Risk Assessment - Contract B (South) Part 3 Water Temperature Monitoring - Contract C (North) Part 4 Water Temperature Monitoring - Contract D (South) Part 5 Legionella Remedial Works - Contract E (Reactive - North) Part 6 Legionella Remedial Works - Contract E (Reactive - South) Part 7 Legionella Remedial Works - Contract F (Planned) Legionella Risk Assessment To manage and mitigate the risk of legionella disease, the Authority appoints service providers to provide annual risk assessments. Water Temperature Monitoring This Service comprises the monitoring of water temperatures along with inspections and related tasks at sites nominated by the Authority to satisfy Health and Safety Guidance 274 ("HSG 274") following legionella water risk assessments undertaken by others. Legionella Remedial Works To undertake Reactive Legionella Remedial works up to a value of £200, as instructed directly by either BECON, District Surveyor or Building Services Engineer, within the allocated geographical area and limited to immediate threats of scalding, rectification of "out of parameter" defects identified by the Legionella Water Monitoring Service Providers. To undertake Planned Legionella Remedial work over £500 to £10,000 following risk assessment and specification of defined scope of remedial work as instructed by the Legionella Control Officer, or Authorised representative, to include all of the above, and :- (i) Investigation surveys to diagnose poor circulation, balancing of systems to improve circulation. (ii) Supply and installation of replacement plant and equipment where this reduces risk. (iii) Chemical disinfection and assurance sampling All successful suppliers will be invited to tender for planned works over £10,000. The supplier that offers the most economically advantageous tender for each tender will be awarded the planned works.
